Celebrate the Fourth of July next summer with the Farmington Marching Band in WASHINGTON, D.C.!
Farmington, it’s time to break out the red, white, and blue in 2026!
The Farmington High School Marching Band has officially been selected to represent the State of Utah in the National Independence Day Parade in Washington, D.C. next summer! The band will have the opportunity to march down historic Constitution Avenue in our Nation’s Capitol on July 4, 2026 in commemoration of America’s birthday and the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence!
The trip will be open to all students currently in 8th through 12th grades. Family members are invited and encouraged to attend as well!
In addition to our parade performance on July 4th, students will have a chance to visit some of the most well-known sites in the D.C. area including the memorials on the National Mall, the National 9/11 Memorial at the Pentagon, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery, and much more. Trip participants will also have the chance to watch the National Symphony Orchestra and the U.S Army Band in concert with invited guests for “A Capitol Fourth” on the lawn of the U.S. Capitol on the evening of July 4th, concluding with a spectacular fireworks show for the ages. The tour is being organized by Music Celebrations International (MCI). All travelers must register online through their website portal. Follow the link below to create an account and register for the trip. When you create your account, select "Farmington High School Band" from the drop down menu to link your account to our trip. You do not need a group code on the main login page. Additional instructions are available on the MCI website if you have questions.

In order for your registration to be considered complete, the first trip payment must be made in the front office at Farmington High School after filling out the registration on MCI’s website. Please note the tour fee payment schedule can be found HERE.​
